Hello SLSBC Members,

Do you need new gear? Not sure what will work best for you? This is the weekend to demo new gear from the Boardroom! Taylor and Murray will once again be at the lake from Friday, July 11th to Sunday, July 13th. They will be at Brian Welch’s dock, please come buy and check out the gear, take them for a demo ride.

Skis, wakeboards, wake surfs, and wakeboards will all be on display.

Taylor and Karina Nowlan have worked together to ensure the proper equipment will be at the lake. If you are in a clinic with Karina, please ask her if you should try a different ski or different set up, it will make a world of difference.

Remember, all SLSBC members get discounts with the Boardroom, this is the weekend to buy your gear!

Hello members,

I hope everyone has been enjoying the great weather at the lake. We just want to highlight some of the great events we have planned this summer.

Saturday, June 28th 5:00 – 7:00 pm – Social on the Ski Dock

A Casual gathering on the ski dock, start off the Canada Day weekend. Come out with your favorite Canada Day gear and bring along an appy and beverage of choice!

Karina Nowlan Clinic – July 11th – 13th. Sign up now at www.slsbc.ca/clinics

We still have spots available for the Karina clinic, this is a great chance to start your skiing off right this season. Whether you are just learning or getting into short line, Karina can help you get there properly.

We need a minimum of 20 skiers to run the clinic, so don’t wait sign up now.

HO Sports Demo Weekend – July 11th – 13th.

The guys from the Boardroom will be back with all the latest gear, if you need equipment this is the time to get it. The gear will be set up on Brian Welch’s dock, drop by anytime.

Joel Perkins Ski/Board/Surf clinic – July 25th – 27th.

Joel is back to teach all 3 sports, please sign up online.

Karina Nowlan August Clinic and we need a Host – August 8th – 10th.

There are still spots available for the August clinic as well, again we need a minimum of 20 skiers to make it happen.

We are also looking for a family to host Karina and Cam. They are a great couple, lots of fun, and you may just get some extra instruction! Please email info@slsbc.ca if you are interested.

SLSBC Social – We are still looking for a place to host the barbeque

This is a great party that is always a lot of fun. The SLSBC executive will help out with organization and will supply the food. Please contact info@slsbc.ca to get more information.

Please be advised that the date for the Annual General Meeting has been changed to Saturday, May 17th at 3:00 pm. The meeting will continue to be held at Ken & Cheryl Johnston’s cabin.
